Mansion of Dawn

The inspiration for the Mansion of Dawn came from the client's preferences and the designer's vision of creating an open and flowing space. By carefully choosing colors and textures, Chiang has established an outstanding and elegant sense throughout the house. The fusion of sunlight and carefully placed line shapes, metal ceiling lamps, and thick wood makings create a sense of multilayers, making it a truly unique residence.

What sets the Mansion of Dawn apart is the designer's use of earth tone colors, creating a simple yet elegant atmosphere. The combination of different materials in the same tone, from the living room to the dining room, ensures a cohesive and harmonious space. The balcony, designed with retractable curtains, offers flexibility and adds an outdoor element to the living area.

The construction of the Mansion of Dawn involved the use of fair-faced concrete boards embedded with hand-made titanium-plated metals. The staggered lines create an elegant ambiance, while the continuous floor adds a touch of vigor to the space. The designer has paid special attention to the technical specifications, ensuring ample storage space and a private domain that meets the client's living standards.

The Mansion of Dawn is not only visually stunning but also highly functional. The open style connection between the living room and study allows for a sense of multilayers, while the private domain is planned with a fresh and customized style. The designer has carefully divided the space into equal-sized rooms, creating a balanced configuration that enhances the quality of living.

The Mansion of Dawn was completed in April 2020 in Taipei City, Taiwan. The design is a result of extensive research and careful consideration of materials and spatial planning. The project has been recognized for its excellence and creativity, receiving the Bronze A' Design Award in 2021 in the Interior Space, Retail, and Exhibition Design category.
